7 members of our skilled team worked throughout the night at John Lewis’s flagship Oxford Street store this January as part of upgrades to their existing water heating system. The flue being lined with Kompozitor’s composite system services essential water heating plant meaning all works had to be completed out of hours and to an extremely tight schedule!

After removing the existing rigid flue from the chimney our team lifted the new 40m, 300mm diameter furanflex liner into place using specialist winching equipment. Once in the correct position the liner was inflated and steam introduced to set it in place. Final connections were made top and bottom and the system back up and running before John Lewis opened their doors to Oxford Street’s keen shoppers!
