SAFE Contractor
At Chimflue, we have been approved by SAFEcontractor since 2006 and are continually updating our Health & Safety and Environmental policies and procedures to ensure we protect our workforce and stay in line with the current legislation. To discover more about what SAFEcontractor accreditation means please read on below and follow the link to their website.
“SAFEcontractor is an accreditation scheme that assesses the health & safety competency of contractors and service providers. Clients have a legal obligation to ensure that external contractors and service providers working on their premises operate in a safe way. There is therefore a need to assess contractor’s health & safety arrangements and increasingly this is being carried out through SAFEcontractor.
Many large organisations now use SAFEcontractor as their primary means of selecting contractors.”

Buy with Confidence
At Chimflue, customer peace of mind is very important, for this reason we are proud to be part of the local Buy With Confidence Scheme. The scheme itself is regulated by Hampshire County Council’s trading standards department, they ensure that all businesses seeking accreditation are committed to a high standard of trading. For further information on this scheme, please read on below or follow the link to their website.
“The aim of the Buy with Confidence scheme is to help consumers to avoid rip-offs and cowboys by providing a list of reputable local businesses, in a wide range of different trades. Member companies have been independently checked by staff from the local authority Trading Standards Service against the Scheme rules.”
